A Boss Move: Naomi Osaka

I stand with Naomi Osaka.

Bullies. I swear, it’s like they have roaches in their souls. You might giggle at their ridiculousness, but nobody wants to actually be involved in their garbage. Often used for their dirty work by people who undervalue them, bullies are tolerated by folks who are just glad to not be targets, silently hoping they “take that ish over there”. And herein lies the problem.

Society supports the diseased intentions of the bully media by either using their assets or ignoring their viciousness. Owned by apathy, society expects for people being victimized by a bully to stand strong and magically produce our brand of excellence, even while being relentlessly targeted. With weak smiles we cringe and offer victims a fickle, feckless fecal salve of empathetic glances, group-think silence and half-hearted sentiments to apply to their deeply infected wounds.

Miss Osaka knows: Bullies hate boundaries, and the Piers Morgan types in media and in life are certainly no exception. It is easier to stop a sociopath from scratching you with their stank need to hurt you for fun by not condoning their malignant habits the first place.

A boss always denies negative energy sources access to her peace of mind. There’s a fine to pay? Paid it. I stand with Miss Osaka. Mental health is first priority, and trifling, low rent energy only intends to destroy it.

May you also guard your heart, keep your thoughts on high, surround yourself with good people, pray on your path to success and always do what’s best for YOU.

Boundaries, indeed.
